Akkaz Collective is a test kitchen for alternative histories, oral histories, urban studies, ecology, speculative futures, and critical theory.

The collective has recently exhibited installations, printed publications, and photographic work at the Venice Biennale of Architecture 2023, Italy and Yarmouk Cultural Center, Kuwait has presented work at Jameel Art Centre, Dubai. 

Akkaz Collective’s central work is an ongoing project focusing on Kuwait’s geographical, ecological, archeological, and architectural histories and findings on the Sulaibikhat and Doha coastline and the now perished island of Akkaz —all along the Kuwait Bay.
